What areas of SoCal do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout Los Angeles County (excluding north of Agua Dulce), Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego area.

How do I find out if Fitness Kitchen delivers in my area?

While creating your order, the first question we ask is to input your zip code to confirm we deliver in your area.

How much is delivery?

Daily Delivery fees are based on your zip code and location. Depending on where you live within our delivery area of Southern California, daily delivery fees range in cost from $6.00 to $10.00. Please note that we only deliver in the Southern California area and are not nationwide.

How often are my meals delivered?

All meal plans are delivered fresh daily. We deliver a days worth of meals every morning by 6:00am to your home. We do not disturb, call or text customers while making deliveries overnight to make the 6:00am morning deadline.

How will I receive my deliveries each day?

Your daily delivery of meals will arrive in an insulated cooler Fitness Kitchen bag. Please note that we do not disturb, call or text clients while making deliveries to make the 6:00am morning deadline. It is your responsibility to provide us in advance of your start date, a code, a key or a FOB if one is required for property accessibility.

What time will I get my delivery?

For new subscribers, first delivery will arrive within 72 hours or on a later date of your choosing. For ongoing subscribers: we deliver Monday through Friday by 6:00am. Saturday meals are included in the Friday delivery.

What should I do with the cooler bag after my meals are delivered?

Please place your empty cooler bag with re-usable ice packs back in the designated delivery spot, the same spot you requested we leave your meals. Our driver will exchange your empty cooler bag with a full bag of new meals. Do not include meal containers in the cooler bag – please recycle the containers on your own. The driver will not pick up bags filled with used containers. If you miss one night of leaving your empty bag out for pick-up, don’t worry! Just place 2 empty bags the following night.

What do I do with the cooler bag & ice packs?

The previous delivery cooler bag and ice packs are picked up when we make your next delivery. Kindly leave them in the designated drop-off spot to avoid fees for unreturned packaging. There will be additional charge of $25 per unreturned cooler bag and ice pack.

What do I do if my bag is stolen?

Please call customer service at (800) 590-1292 or email us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com as soon as you are aware your bag is missing.

Subscriptions

How do Fitness Kitchen subscriptions work?

A weekly subscription is the easiest, most convenient, most cost-effective option for eating clean, wholesome meals – no meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning. We’ll charge your card on a recurring weekly basis, and you’ll receive uninterrupted deliveries while enjoying Southern California’s favorite meal delivery plan. You can skip weeks of your subscription if you’re traveling or simply want a break and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

How much does it cost?

Meals start at $10 a meal up to $15 per meal for most of our meal plans.

How do Coupon Codes work?

In order to redeem any coupon code used when ordering from Fitness Kitchen, you must subscribe for a 2 week minimum of delivery service. A 2 week minimum order is required to redeem any coupon code used.

When I use a coupon, am I signing up for two weeks?

Any coupon code used by new subscribers requires a two week minimum subscription in order to be eligible to receive the discount.

When do I get charged for my weekly subscription?

Your weekly subscription is renewed automatically every Thursday night at 9pm. You will be charged at that time for the upcoming week of delicious meals.

How do I order more than one plan at once?

Each meal plan is one weekly subscription. If you would like to order more than one meal plan, you will need to add a new subscription.

Can I mix meal plans in a single subscription?

We do not offer the option of mixing meal plans into one subscription. If you would like to add a new meal plan, you will need to sign-up for another subscription.

Can I just try it out for one week?

Fitness Kitchen is a weekly subscription meal plan service. You can try us for one week but you will need to sign up for a subscription to do so.

Can I purchase a month of service all at once?

We do offer the option to sign up for a month of service at time. If you would like to sign up for a longer-term service please email us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com or call us at (800) 590-1292.

How do you sign up with a couple or another family member?

Each weekly subscription is one meal plan. If you are planning to subscribe with a partner, spouse or other family member; each person will need to subscribe to a meal plan individually.

If I want to change plans, do I have to cancel?

Switching meal plans is easy and you can do it as often as you like. Simply login to your account and change your meal plan. All changes to weekly recurring subscriptions must be made through your account by Thursday at 9:00pm PST in order for the change to be made for the following week’s deliveries.

Do I have to place an order every week?

No. Your weekly subscription is renewed every week automatically every Thursday night at 9pm. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time by logging into your account. Changes to your account must be made by Thursday before 9:00pm for the following week.

Are meals delivered fresh or frozen?

All meals are delivered fresh daily for easy reheating in a conventional oven or microwave. We do not provide frozen meals as a service. To learn more about how to reheat your meals, scroll down to the question: How should I reheat my meals?

Can I see a Sample Menu?

How should I reheat my meals?

Chef Marieno encourages you to use your own oven-proof cookware to reheat meals in a conventional oven at a maximum of 350 degrees for 8 – 10 minutes whenever possible. While our meal containers are microwavable, they are not suitable for a conventional oven. When you opt for the microwave, heat no more than 2 – 3 minutes at 50 percent power with the lid removed.

  • Balance Plan approximately 1100-1300 (3 meals)
  • Pescatarian Plan is approximately 1100-1300 (3 meals)
  • Keto Plan is approximately (1250-1450) (3 meals)
  • Paleo Plan is approximately 1100-1300 (3 meals)
  • Vegetarian Plan is approximately 1250-1400 (3 meals)
  • Low Carb Plan is approximately 1200-1350 (3 meals)

What are the macros in your meals?

  • Balance Plan approximately 40% Carbs, 30% Protein, 30% Fat
  • Pescatarian Plan is approximately 40% Carbs, 30% Protein, 30% Fat
  • Keto Plan is approximately 70% Fat, 5% Carb, 25% Protein
  • Paleo Plan is approximately 40% Carbs, 30% Protein, 30% Fat
  • Vegetarian Plan is approximately 45% Carb, 25%, 30%
  • Low Carb Plan is approximately 25 % Carb, 40% Protein, 35% Fat

What type of ingredients does Fitness Kitchen use?

All meals are freshly made, non-GMO, free of preservatives, hormones or antibiotics. We only use locally-sourced ingredients including grass-fed beef, free-range poultry and eggs, wild-caught fish and seasonal produce that is certified organic whenever possible. Most of our meals are 100% soy, dairy and gluten free. There is some soy and dairy in our Vegetarian meal plan. There is some dairy in our Keto meal plan.

Are your meals gluten free?

All our meal plans are 100% gluten free.

Can I order dinner (or breakfast or lunch) ONLY?

Minimum order for meal plans is 2 meals daily, you select the type of meals you want (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

What if I have a food allergy ?

We offer up to 9 ingredient eliminations for most of our meal plans. Once you select your meal plan, you will be asked to select your omissions. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING WHETHER ANY FOOD ALLERGIES MAY OCCUR. Although we will provide ingredient lists when requested, Fitness Kitchen is not responsible for any allergic or adverse reactions you might have to our food.

What if I have a medical condition?

If you are on medication or under a doctor’s care for a medical condition you must consult your doctor before beginning a new meal program. Meal plan are not meant to replace or supersede any doctor-prescribed diet program. Fitness Kitchen’s plans do not replace a physician’s advice; if you are using our meal plans as part of a doctor-prescribed diet, you shall be ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with such diet. Furthermore, if you have diabetes or other medical conditions of any kind, you shall be responsible for maintaining your diet to ensure compliance with the requirements of such conditions. Our meal recommendations shall not be deemed medical advice.

What makes Fitness Kitchen different from other meal delivery services?

At Fitness Kitchen, we’re firm believers that all calories are NOT created equal. While caloric intake is important as it relates to your fitness goals, our meal plans go a step further and are built around a specific ratio of macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats). Each meal plan has a specially designed macronutrient profile to help you reach your health and fitness goals. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, maintain your current profile or fuel performance and build muscle, there’s a Fitness Kitchen meal plan for you.

Is there a discount for long-term or group orders?

Do you offer any incentives for referrals?

Subscribers can receive $50 OFF their next week of deliveries for every person referred by them that purchases a meal plan from Fitness Kitchen. We allow one $50.00 referral credit to be used per week, no stacking. For instance, if a subscriber has $100 in referrals, they receive $50 off of one week at a time, meaning that $100 would apply to 2 weeks of service at $50 each.
In order to participate in our referral program, subscribers must email the names of their referrals to info@fitnesskitchenla.com, as we track referrals only via email. Once a subscriber’s referral has made a meal plan purchase, the $50 discount will be applied to that referee’s next week of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be emailed to us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com. Orders can be cancelled for a 100% refund up to 7 days prior to the start of your plan. For cancellations up to 4 days prior to the start of your plan, Fitness Kitchen will refund 50% of the plan cost. Within 4 days of your plan start date, no refunds will be issued; however, you can have it sent to someone else.

What are acceptable forms of payment?

We accept all major U.S. credit and debit cards. If you opted in for a subscription, you will be automatically charged on a recurring weekly basis, on the Friday prior to each week’s delivery.

My Account

How can I change my delivery address?

Simply log into your account and click on the option “Delivery Address” to update the address. Please note that any delivery address changes can take up to 72 hours to go into effect.

How do I make changes to my account?

All changes to weekly recurring subscriptions must be made through your account by Thursday at 9:00pm PST for the following week’s deliveries. Clients are responsible for submitting account changes, no adjustments can be made after Thursday at 9:00pm PST.
